How is this different from Stripe's automatic retries?+
Stripe retries the card silently — it never emails your customer. RescueDunning emails them: a branded 3-email sequence (Day 1/3/7) with a one-click card-update link, plus pre-dunning alerts before the card even expires. Retries recover the payment; we recover the customer.
What are pre-dunning alerts?+
We scan your customers' cards nightly and email anyone whose card expires in 30, 14, or 7 days, asking them to update it before their next invoice. It's the cheapest recovered revenue you'll ever get — a payment that never fails.
Do I need to change my checkout or billing code?+
No. Connect your Stripe account via OAuth and add our webhook endpoint. We listen for invoice.payment_failed events and run everything from there. Your checkout stays exactly as it is.
Where do the emails come from?+
Dunning emails go out from your own domain — we send via Resend or Postmark, and the Docs page has the DNS records you'll add. Until you connect a provider, every message lands in your dashboard outbox instead, so you can preview exactly what customers would receive before anything is sent.
